#6 Jim 2010-05-09 20:25 That's interesting. And nice to hear. Cause I've tried from time to time not to rotate my hips too fast. Not to cure a pull, cause I had no idea that my hip movement could be the reason for those, but cause I just thought I hit the ball much better then. Last summer I even asked the pro at my gold club if he thought I rotated my hips to fast and he said no. But if you think my hips rotate too fast I think you're probably right. So thx for that tip Quote

#5 Chris A. 2010-05-09 18:55 Yeah, I had a similar problem, I read some books and found that my cause was in my lower body rotation. At the top I was clearing my hips too quickly, which pulled my arms across my swing path resulting in the pull.

I found the most effective way to fix it was to really focus on timing my downswing better with my lower body, especially with ensuring my hips didn't rush on the downswing.

It looks like you may be in the same boat, I'd give that a try.

#4 Jim 2010-05-09 09:58 Chris, the shot was right at the flag but it hit one of the trees in the back and landed in the water behind the green. This was actually a very good shot but it was my first round for the season so I wasn't sure about the length and since the whole was about 135yrd I thought I'd give my sand wedge a little extra go. However I do have a big problem with pulls and pull hooks. During this week I played 4 rounds and I can't remember one single shot ending up right of the fairway. Any suggestions? Quote

#3 Chris A. 2010-05-09 05:03 Hey Jim, on this swing you almost look like you lunge at the ball from the top. It looks like a pull to me, how did this shot turn out? Quote

#2 Jim 2010-05-08 22:35 I have a better ball contact than most people I´ve played with. Unfortunately I also have the most inconsistent ball contact by far. The golf pro at my club told me that this probably is because I move too much sideways. SO I need to work on that.

My normal ball flight is a high one with a small draw with the irons and a fade with the driver.

#1 Scott 2010-05-08 11:50 Looks like you make great contact with your irons. What is your normal ball flight?
